Thank you for requesting to join the Richmond Park Rouleurs.

New Members' Laps
To join the club, we request that you attend one of our New Members Laps, which we hold in Richmond Park. We usually hold these twice a month during the peak seasons. Please look at our Meetup events to find the next one.

Our New Member Laps are held alongside our regular Club Social Laps, so this is a great way of meeting our club members, getting a feel for the club and our different group ride paces. To give you a guide on ability, our entry-level club ride, the Steady Social level, rides at an average pace of 13 mph (21 kph) and typically completes a 7-mile lap of Richmond Park in around 30 minutes or less.

As we are a road cycling club, you will need a drop-bar road bike. However, a flat-bar hybrid road bike would also be fine for our steady/social rides.

Once you have attended the New Members Laps, we will invite you to join us on our regular club ride, and we will also send you the joining instructions to pay and become a member of the club. Our club rides are normally on Sundays , and are posted on Meetup mid week. We allow you to join us for your first regular club ride before having to pay and fully sign up.

Membership is £35 per year. We are a non-profit organisation affiliated with British Cycling. We are run entirely by volunteers and have a club committee.
