Please join me for a spoooooooooooky Halloween evening at my favourite local pub.

A live band called KingTastic are playing who are great, so this will be the usual fun evening with loud music, tuneless singing and lots of dancing.

Feel free to dress up adding blood, slime, fangs and gore!

Please do not sign up then not turn up ... I'm watching you! It's easy to change your RSVP to 'No' if you can't make it after all.

The pub is a seven minute walk from Richmond tube and overland train station.

Please join me at the Red Cow in Richmond on Saturday 8th November to see Red Rocket play.

It will be great if some of you join me at the start 8pm. Band on at 9pm. Note it will be very busy and noisy, and there will be lots of tuneless singing and dancing.

"Red Rocket are best known for playing the best of rock and pop covers. Everything from Artic Monkeys to Zeppelin with loads of cheese in the middle. Our videos below will give you an idea of how we fill dance floors and put smiles on the faces of our audiences."

Please join me for the Barmy Arms' annual Christmas lights turn-on.

Live music playing all your favourite Christmas singalongs. There will be mulled wine, hot boozy chocolate, and of course, all their Festive Fayre.

The lights are switched on at 7pm but they probably won't look very much like the photo!

Please change your RSVP to 'No' if you can't come or you'll get marked as a no-show. Three no shows and you're removed from this group.

Join me for some live music, dancing & fun in Wimbledon. Those lovely Circa79 folks will be playing all those punk/post-punk/new wave/ska-2 tone covers to keep the dance floor full till closing. Think Madness, Adam & The Ants, Blondie, Elvis Costello, Sex Pistols, Specials, Soft Cell, Cult, Bad Manners, The Selecter, Tubeway Army, The Clash, Ramones, Undertones, The Beat, Pretenders, The Stranglers etc.. Have a drink, have a dance, fun to be had!

Look out for MeetUp signs on our reserved tables, or ask at the bar, or ask the band! I'll be on the stage singing!

"Another fantastic weekend watching Circa79 @ The Nightingale in Sutton and The Swan West Wickham. Both venues were packed and shout out to the staff at both venues who kept the drinks flowing. Last night the band delivered a rip roaring 3 set performance full of classic punk, ska and rock/pop numbers which electrified the crowd into singing and dancing along with the thumping sounds from 4 talented musicians who not only perform but entertain and interact with the crowd. "I caught the two Circa 79 gigs this weekend at The Nightingale and The Swan. This band is kicking it. Great concept, the music from the late 70’s to the early 80’s, which has led to the band performing an eclectic set of music, which is the soundtrack to my late teens.
Plus on top of that their presentation, use of social media and being approachable to their audience. Yes, Circa have created a fun vibe, a good night out, but underpinned by a great set list.
