Richmond & Twickenham Book Club

Welcome to our book club, tailored for those in and around Twickenham and Richmond, and open to book lovers everywhere!

Join us monthly, typically on a Wednesday, at a local pub/bar.

We also have a sister film club, Richmond and Twickenham Film Club, for those who enjoy discussing films as much as books.

How it works:
Our host kicks off each session with a brief book summary and discussion questions. It's a relaxed setting, and going off-topic is absolutely fine!

Book selection:
Members suggest and vote on books, with each month centering around a theme.

Monthly themes:

• Jan: Action/Adventure
• Feb: History
• Mar: Literary Fiction
• Apr: Love
• May: Biographies/Autobiographies/Memoirs
• Jun: Suspense/Thriller/Detective/Mystery
• Jul: Poetry/Essays/Philosophy/Sociology/Self-discovery novels
• Aug: Fantasy/Dystopian/Science Fiction
• Sep: Comedy
• Oct: True Crime/Journalism
• Nov: Classics
• Dec: Wildcard

A note about membership:
For everyone's safety and peace of mind at our meetups, we ask that members joining either club have a real name and a real photo on their Meetup profile. This helps everyone know who they're meeting and keeps our events a comfortable and welcoming space for all.
