Forth of July Fireworks at the Carillon

It's that time of year! There will be fireworks at the Dogwood Dell and the Carillon monument at 9pm. If you arrive early at 7pm, you will see and hear the Virginia Opera, and the Richmond concert will band play various American compositions and at 9pm they will play the 1812 Overture and the sound of Howitzer cannons as the fireworks begin. It's a great tradition. If you get the right spot, it is quite scenic with the carillon tower. There will be crowds, but there are buses from the City stadium that make it manageable. It's a memorable time if you can make it. Hope you can come out!
