The State Fair is a wonderful event rich with photo opportunities. From the horses and farm animals to the exhibits to the carnival rides it is a smorgasbord of interesting and colorful subjects to photograph. I always come away with great photos and I have fun too. So, I have scheduled a visit this Sunday at 3pm. I will be at the ticket booths at that time. There is lots to do. On this Sunday there will be a Cowboy Mounted Shooting at 6pm. That is simply a great thing to watch and photograph. You can stay for a hopeful sunset and later photograph the rides with long shutter speeds and a tripod. Or just capture candids of people and the color of the night. Admission is $20. You can purchase ahead of time online. Hope to see you there!
