Celebrate Juneteeth & Jenine's Birthday with a Sunset Hike!

Join us for a special evening as we honor Juneteenth, the newest national holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, and celebrate our dear friend Jenine’s birthday with a scenic hike at the State Park.

Meet at 6:00 PM at the Nature Center. We’ll hike Trail 7, one of the park’s most beautiful paths, leading us through the woods to the beach. From there, we’ll stroll to the Pavilion’s rooftop bar to enjoy refreshments and great company.

Jenine will bring her singing bowls, and you're welcome to carry light instruments if you’d like to contribute to the vibe. Along the way, we’ll take time to reflect on the meaning of Juneteeth, freedom, and community.

Afterward, we'll walk back to the Nature Center together. This promises to be a fun, thoughtful, and uplifting evening. Hope you can make it! -Eileen
