Pop Up Hike at Indiana Dunes State Park

come join us for an impromptu hike on this warmish January day in the beautiful forests and beaches of the Indiana Dunes State Park. we will decide what route we will take once everyone gets here.
Michelle and a few friends will be here for sure, and if you see this in time and are available ... well, the more the merrier!
this is the state park, so you'll need a pass or entrance fee...unless there is no one at the gate, in which case, just drive right in.
If you don't have a pass, at the gate it costs $7 for residents and $12 for non-residents. Annual passes are also available, and worthwhile if you visit more than a few times a year--and this is the best time of year to buy them. car-pooling is also a good idea.
remember to have the right clothing and footwear, enough water, all the usual good stuff.
