Grab a drink, relax, and learn to draw.

This laid-back, beginner-friendly drawing class is held during happy hour at Improper City, so you can sketch, sip, and unwind while building real foundational art skills. Whether you haven't drawn in years or want to strengthen your basics, this class focuses on simple techniques that make drawing feel approachable and fun, not intimidating.

We'll work through a few quick warm-ups to loosen your hand, then spend most of the session drawing a still life while learning how artists actually see shapes, proportions, and space.

Expect a casual, social, low-pressure environment. Come solo, or bring a friend. This is as much about community and creativity as it is about technique.

What we'll cover:

• Contour drawing
• Breaking objects into simple shapes
• Measuring proportions
• Negative space basics
• Guided still life drawing

Coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages are available at the bar and the cafe located inside Improper City.

All levels are welcome. Seriously. If you can hold a pencil, you can take this class.
