This tutorial was designed for beginners who are new to R programming and will include the following:

• Information about which software is necessary to download, where to find it, and how to install it.
• Please note that all of the software necessary to use R is free!
• Steps to write your first lines of R code.
• Techniques to import and summarize data.
• Approaches to learn more about R in the future.
• Many opportunities to ask questions.
