SPSS to R

Do you want an open source route to statistical methodology? Are you wanting to make the switch from SPSS to R? Join R-ladies #LdnOnt on Friday July 7 from 1-3!!

We are super excited to feature R-lady, Daryn Cushnie-Sparrow as she walks us through the SPSS ---> R switch. Daryn has made the switch for her own research in the Speech and Language field.

For this meet up, make sure to have the following installed if you don't already:

• R

• RStudio (https://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/)

• RMarkdown (http://rmarkdown.rstudio.com) by entering the following into your console: install.packages("rmarkdown")

• Packrat (https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/packrat/index.html) - install.packages("packrat")

Head upstairs to 121 Studios of UnLondon for the tutorial and afterwards we'll try to find a patio!
