Details

We are excited to announce our new collaboration with R-Ladies Cologne, PyLadies Tunis, and PyLadies Munich by hosting a joint meetup on September 30 at 6pm CEST.

PyLadies (https://pyladies.com/) is an international mentorship group with a focus on helping more women become active participants and leaders in the Python open-source community.

We will delve into the beauty of data visualization and explore how easy it is to transfer the logic of ggplot2 to the world of Python using plotnine 🎨

✨ Bringing your plots to cloud nine with {Plotnine} ✨
Our workshop is focused on exploring how to create and customize enticing visuals using plotnine in Python -- a visualization library very similar to R's ggplot2. By the end of the workshop, users will be familiar with basic plotnine concepts and create a total of 2 visuals using data provided by Tidy Tuesday.
