Nous sommes ravis de collaborer avec R-Ladies Strasbourg pour organiser une Watch Party virtuelle pour la conférence organisée par Posit qui a lieu du 17 au 20 septembre 2023 à Chicago 🔗 ​https://posit.co/conference/

Durant cette Watch Party, nous regarderons ensemble les replays de ces deux présentations sélectionnées de la conférence, le mardi 3 octobre 2023 à partir de 19h00 CEST :

1. GitHub Copilot integration with RStudio, it's finally here!, présenté par
   Tom Mock, Product Manager, Posit Workbench and RStudio, Posit, PBC

“ This talk closes issue #10148, "Github Copilot integration with RStudio", the most upvoted feature request in RStudio's history. Code-generating AI tools like Github Copilot™ promise an "AI pair programmer that offers autocomplete-style suggestions as you code". For the first time, we'll show a native integration of Copilot into RStudio, helping to build on that promise by providing AI-generated "ghost text" autocompletion with R and other languages. I'll also provide a comparison of Copilot's "ghost text" to a chat-style interface in RStudio via the {chattr} package from the Posit MLVerse team. To make the most of these new features, I'll share some examples of how sharing additional context, comments, code, and other "prompt engineering" can help you go from code-generating AI tools that feel like an annoying backseat driver to an experienced copilot. We'll close with a robust end-to-end example of how these new RStudio integrations and packages can help you be a more productive developer.”

2. Unlock the Power of DataViz Animation and Interactivity in Quarto, présenté par Deepsha Menghani, Sr. Data Applied Scientist Manager, Microsoft

“Data visualizations are a key tool in the process of sharing insights with stakeholders in ways that make an impact and are easily understood. Animation and interactivity bring in a key component of analysis that enables one to derive insights that a plot with two dimensions doesn't otherwise allow. Sometimes it can tell a powerful story, and sometimes it can just add some flair to an otherwise low-key story. This talk will showcase packages such as Plotly and Crosstalk that enable this creativity right within Quarto.
Plotly, Crosstalk, and Highcharter are powerful packages that allow interactivity right from within your Quarto markdown report, without the need to create an entire application. Easily have two separate plots interact with each other or add drill-down capabilities within a single plot, whichever adds to the story you are trying to tell.”
