Bayes Rules! An Introduction to Bayesian Modeling with R
Details
Bayesian statistics?! Once an obscure term, this alternative to the more ingrained frequentist philosophy is having a moment (a long one). In this workshop, we’ll explore some core principles of the Bayesian philosophy, learn to think like Bayesians, and get our hands on some Bayesian models. The workshop materials will rely on the following R packages: tidyverse, bayesrules, bayesplot, rstan, rstanarm. The rstan package in particular would be great to install in advance and works best with R version 4.0.0 or later.
