For the next meetup (Saturday - July 27th) we are going to have a joint meeting with the Analytics Hackathon (https://www.meetup.com/Analytics-Hackathon/). This is going to be our first meetup in the East Bay.
Charles (from the Analytics Hackaton) is going to give a presentation on basic Portfolio Simulation in R. There will likely be an intro seminar for beginning R users.
If someone wants to give a talk about anything (something that you know or learned and want to share, some project you've been working on, etc) let me know.
So, let's meet for a few hours, to have fun while learning R, to exchange knowledge, to work on your personal projects or just to meet other R-ladies.
As always, I will provide online tutorials (links) and books so you can work on or you can bring your own book about R (that one that you bought but you never had time to sit and study it).
If you are an intermediate or advanced R user, you can work on your own project, study any topic you are interested in or help the beginners.
