RShiny - How to get started + tricks and tips
Details
Shiny is a web framework that makes it relatively simple to get input values from a web page that are readily available for use in R. Then the results of your R code can be written as output values back to the web page. All of this without having to know any HTML, CSS, or Javascript!
Given that Shiny does so much for you, it can be a little tricky starting out with the package. Together we will explore the basics to making interactive web applications.
We will go over the key Shiny functions that govern:
-
Application layout
-
Collecting user input
-
Reactive expressions
-
Outputs
Bring your laptop with RStudio installed.
