Hello R-Ladies!

Join us on March 25th for a talk on learning R from a sports analytics perspective.

Event Description: Canada's favorite sport isn't just fun to play and fun to watch, it's also a fun tool for learning and using R. I originally taught myself R in order to better analyze hockey, and in this workshop we'll discuss how R sparked my career path as a data analyst as well as work through beginner and intermediate data manipulation techniques from the tidyverse by calculating some box score hockey stats.

About the Speaker: Meghan Hall is a higher ed data professional by day, a hockey analyst by night, and an enthusiastic R user and educator at all hours of the day. She regularly writes and presents on various aspects of hockey analysis and frequently delivers talks and workshops on R. Learn more about Meghan here: https://meghan.rbind.io/.
