Our first speaker, Trevor Uptain, is the Head of Engineering at MedicareVox, where he leads the development of Voice AI solutions tailored for the insurance sector. His presentation will delve into the current Voice AI landscape, discussing the challenges of scaling from a few calls to millions and managing conversations ranging from brief interactions to hour-long discussions. He will address the engineering and design hurdles in building reliable AI voice systems, the specific data and compliance requirements of regulated industries like insurance, and how Voice AI can transform customer engagement. Attendees will gain practical insights into the technology stack, best practices for prompt engineering, and a glimpse into the future role of Voice AI in modern enterprises.
Before his tenure at MedicareVox, Trevor contributed to Google's Core Machine Learning team and held software engineering positions at several rapidly growing startups. Based in Boston, he is passionate about creating impactful AI technologies that advance conversational systems.
Next, Daniel Ritchie, who is a career technologist and founder of Brain Wave Collective, will explore real-time voice cloning and synthesis with hands-on examples. Modern voice AI technologies have become both powerful and approachable. This practical presentation will showcase how anyone can easily integrate custom voices into their projects, with a hackathon-winning robot bringing these capabilities to life. Through readily available platforms and accessible development tools, we'll highlight paths to unlocking creative new possibilities in voice AI and robotics.
Daniel Ritchie is founder of Brain Wave Collective, where innovators transform emerging technologies into real-world success. He makes cutting-edge capabilities practical and accessible, fostering both individual and business innovation. His recent achievements include competition-winning contributions in open-source robotics, computer vision, and multimedia applications.
Finally, Christian Robins, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of 11 Dollar Bill, will explore how Voice AI is transforming real-world post-production workflows. Voice AI is becoming an essential tool in modern media production, from voice cloning for automated dialogue replacement (ADR) to AI-generated temp tracks and localization. This practical presentation will showcase how these technologies enhance storytelling and streamline creative processes.
