A Slow Lakes Roam

We have done a Friday version of this a couple of times now, and I thought it would be nice to expand it to a three-hour version for the folks who can't make Fridays.
We have roamed through Golden Gate Park in many different ways, including a straight shot from the Panhandle to Ocean Beach. This is one of the more mellow options: it's pretty flat - allowing for the fact that the park is full of gentle rolling slopes - and we will build in plenty of time to sit by various lakes in the middle of the park, including the recently renovated Middle Lake. We will stay off the paved roads as much as possible.

Bring water, snacks, and layers for whatever the weather is doing.

These roams are offered by donation. They are one way I am able to pay my rent in San Francisco.

I know Meetup is notorious for no-shows and late changes of rsvp. I am not as strict as other organisers, but I do pay attention to those who regularly drop off or no-show, and there will be consequences for recidivists, as it is discourteous for others who would like to attend.
