Roaming The Hub

Details
This roam takes us to a part of town I have been interested in for a long time, but have held back on offering as a roam - not least because I can't find a public bathroom anywhere on the route!
'The Hub' has been revived as a name for this area by the city to reflect the new development around Van Ness and Market, but there are still many vestiges of history around: the whole area is shaped by Mission Creek, and the attempts of the early city to navigate around it. We will try to imagine what it looked like when there were railroads rather than freeways crossing the area.
This is a flat urban roam that will take us from the mouth of the creek to Mint Hill and back, but might be a little longer than two hours.
We will meet in front of Samsara at 1 De Haro St, right by Division and King (Meetup maps seems to have struggled with this location). Given the lack of bathrooms, I recommend visiting REI or a local cafe before we start! The closest public bathroom is at Mission Creek Park on Berry St, which requires detouring around the train tracks to get there.
These roams are offered by donation. They are one way I am able to pay my rent in San Francisco.
Punctuality is always appreciated. Please send a message on the app if you are running a little late. I can usually respond to messages before we get underway, but then I won't be checking my phone. Meetup has now added a "share location" feature, so you will be able to catch up.
I know Meetup is notorious for no-shows and late changes of rsvp. I am not as strict as other organisers (we do talk to each other!), but I do track those who regularly drop off or no-show, and have disinvited several people with dismal attendance records, as it is discourteous for others who would like to attend.
