Roaming Some Downtown POPOS - part 2

The second part of our Privately Owned Public Open Spaces roaming will focus on the area south of Market. We will roam around the tall buildings to see the parks and open spaces that have proliferated in this rebuilt part of the city. From unfilled corners around one intersection to the Salesforce Park, from sculpture gardens to green oases, there is quite the variety on offer here.
This will be a short route in terms of distance covered, mostly flat, with some staircases, and all paved.

This is mostly flat, with some staircases (and elevators!). I keep the attendance more limited for this one so that we don't overwhelm some of the spaces.

Bringing water, snacks, and layers for all the microclimates is the way to go.

These roams are offered by donation. They are one way I am able to pay my rent in San Francisco.

I know Meetup is notorious for no-shows and late changes of rsvp. I am not as strict as other organisers, but I do pay attention to those who regularly drop off or no-show, and there will be consequences for recidivists, as it is discourteous for others who would like to attend.
