I’m 32, a newly single mum of two, and after being in a 9-year relationship I’ve realised I’ve lost touch with quite a few friends along the way. Now that my youngest has started school, I suddenly have a lot more free time — and I thought, rather than sitting at home wondering what to do with myself, why not use it as an opportunity to meet some lovely new people? 🥰

So I’m thinking of organising a casual social meet-up in Rochester High Street, probably at a coffee shop during school hours. ☕️

Absolutely anyone is welcome! You don’t have to be a parent, and if you have little ones who haven’t started school yet, bring them along too! 👶💕

There’s no pressure and no awkward expectations — just a chance to grab a coffee, have a chat, have a laugh and hopefully make some genuine new friendships. ❤️

I know it can feel really daunting turning up to something like this when you don’t know anyone, but I’ll be there too and I’m hoping we can make it a really relaxed, friendly group where nobody feels like the odd one out. 🫶
