Put it on your calendar to camp and climb (4 days) for the holiday in Utah (7 hr drve). The campsites are close to the the climbing and it's climbable even when at 100 degrees outside.
We discovered a new set of crags on private land that has hundreds of climbs in a cool canyon with a Pool and showers. We'll climb one day at Lamb's Knoll and one day at Veyo Pools. It's $16 for day pass to climb in veyo but with showers which means we can clean up.
Please, only sign up if you are serious. 3 day itinerary below for those that cannot take friday off. Feel free to sign up and post in the comments if you are only doing 3 days and if you want to go to veyo pools.
New people are welcome but this is NOT a guided event. Everyone is responsible for his or her own safety and equipment. You will need sport climbing gear and a helmet--there are rappels everywhere--protect your head from tourists above you. There are a few trad lines if you want to bring a rack.

# AREAS
## LAMBS KNOLL
The campground has a pit toilet and but barely any trees. It does have scratchy, thorny bushes, ants, and bats. That time of year the campground will probably be hot in the middle of the day. Night time will cool off. There is also a river and camping next to it a few miles back into town. There is an RV park and town with groceries 20 minutes from the climbing.
## VEYO POOLS
Private Canyon that has a natural spring and pool. Campgrounds and Showers. $16pp for day pass. Campsites are expensive and still require the day pass. We camp elsewhere for free.
# CARPOOL
Post in the comments to arrange carpooling. Drive is 7 hours via either Las Vegas or Jacob's Lake. The vegas drive is bleh. Jacob's lake has a good halfway point for lunch.
# CLIMBING
## lambs knoll
The climbs on MP https://www.mountainproject.com/area/112565220/lambs-knoll are all listed as 5.10 and up. This is partly to keep climbers away because the guides use this area and are not happy that climbers are using it for free--and taking a dump all over the place. Yes, there are piles of poo in random locations--even though a toilet is 5 minutes away. Come to think of it, I am unhappy too. There are easier climbs but the guides use them. We will have to share.
## Veyo Pools
over 200 climbs in a cool canyon. There are mosquitos and pollen from trees. Be prepared. We have a guide from last year and I'll try to post it to the event. We tried one wall last year and there are good climbs of all grades.
