Wildflower Hike

Details
It's that time of year in the mountains when the flowers are at their best so let's go have a look! This is an easy hike perfect for the whole family.
Meet to carpool at Brentwood C-train at 9 am or meet at the Bow Valley Provincial Park Administration by the entrance to the park at 10 am
Note: there is a $15 per vehicle park pass for 1 day, so I expect most to want to car pool.
*This event is hosted by our friends at the Calgary Secular Assembly*
From the Administration building we will convoy to the trailhead for the Many Springs trail.
This trail is a bit under 2 km long, but given the abundance of flowers usually there at this time of year, to spend time looking at & photographing, I expect the circuit to take well over an hour.
We also have the option of hiking the Middle Lake trail after the Many Springs trail. It is also about 2 km long.
Pack a lunch, and some clothing layers, (mountain weather often changes over a few hours) & your camera to take photos of the flowers.
PLEASE CHECK HERE THE MORNING OF THE OUTING FOR ANY CHANGES TO OUR PLANS. Keep your RSVP up to date so we know to look for you. You can also contact Jim (403) 289 4255.
Please indicate in the comments if you are joining us at the meeting place or the Bow Valley Provincial Park Administration entrance so we know if we need to wait for you.
Note that none of us are professional guides and you are responsible for your welfare and that of your children.
