😷 (Easy) CORONAVIRUS ESCAPE RIDE for Responsible Riders, #7.
Details
Short and Sweet. ❤️ EASY RIDE through Deer Creek Canyon area, (Red Rocks is closed) Parmalee Gulch Rd, and Kerr Gulch Rd, ending up at Lookout Mountain. Lookout Mountain provides a spectacular view of the Denver area and prairie! Worth seeing again!! The Conifer/ Evergreen area has many, many beautiful twisty back roads, right here close to Denver.
Be gassed up, and bring a snack and something to drink, as we won’t be stopping for lunch or at any businesses. Please do RSVP so we can get an accurate count.
We’ll practice SAFE SOCIAL DISTANCING, (6’+ personal space, 1 bike per parking place). You might want to consider leaving your gloves and helmet on. You’re practically in a hazmat suit. 🧑🚀 We’ll take a short break at Red Rocks. Then on to Lookout Mountain. Folks can team up and make their own way home from there.
This is a great ride for beginners, folks new to town, people just getting their bikes fired up for the season (do check your tire pressure), and riders looking for shorter rides.
RMMRC is actively looking to attract new members, particularly more Goldwing riders, Cruiser bikes, Harley’s (not too loud 😎), and women riders. We plan to cater more to the still working crowd this year, with more Saturday and Sunday Day rides, and weekend overnighters.
All bands, sizes, types of bikes, and rider skill levels are welcome. Larger Scooters (got to be able to keep up in the mountains) and 3-wheelers too. Helmets are required on all RMMRC Club rides.
Invite a friend! This will be FUN! 👍
It also might be the last ride we get in for a while :-(
Kickstands Up at 1:15PM.
