Sierra Nevada Tour: Mountain Passes, Lassen Volcanic & Yosemite Nat'l Parks

Details
Departing Denver for South Lake Tahoe, CA, with stops in Green River, UT, and Ely, NV on "America's Loneliest Road": Hwy50. The days get more scenic riding around western Lake Tahoe north to Chester, CA, for two nights. Explore Lassen Volcanic National Park on the Lay over day.
Turning south and riding to Sonora, CA, is like a day in the Pyrenees. Another two night stay allows for a second unladen day to ride east across the Sierra's over Ebbets Pass on Hwy4, and Sonora Pass returning west on Hwy 108 to Sonora.
Day 8 takes us to Yosemite National Park's Tioga Pass over to Mammoth Lakes for the next night. We can ride into and lap the Yosemite Valley if there is interest. A long day follows to Cedar City, UT, which will set up our return on a top 20 road in America via Cedar Breaks Nat'l Mnmt, to Utah-12 past Bryce and Capital Reef to Green River again. Options exist to alter the return into Colorado, or return home again via I-70 the final day.
Mixed duration days, weather/climate/altitude, and road types from highways and county roads to alpine passes and canyon switchbacks. Strongly suggest packing adequate food and drink on many days where there will be limited choices for food. Picnics and road side snacking, often at a tourist on holiday pace. National Parks have varied concessions and towns will have gas, restaurants and supplies; except Hwy 50 and the return again east across Nevada into Utah.
Contact direct for questions and to receive a planning sheet via email group to be established. Very excited to get a closer look at the Sierra Nevada's again.
