The Scenario: A heinous crime committed at San Diego's Balboa Park leaves the community's theater goers seatless. This terrible attempt at a "speechless" newspaper pun is the sole lead player-Kindred, or vampires, have to go on when tasked with stopping a series of murders seemingly engineered to reveal the undead to the world.
The Game: Vampire: The Masquerade (V5) is a World of Darkness storytelling game focusing on the trials of retaining one's humanity while committing heinous acts night after night. Some characters will seek to thwart the beast within while others wield it as they climb their new community's various ladders.
This is an original chronicle inspired by current edition World of Darkness offerings from Renegade Game Studios.
The Setting & Vibes: Modern-Horror, Human-Introspection. During Vampire: The Masquerade chronicles, players will juggle building their characters' power against continuing to blend in with mortal society - aka The Masquerade.
