🗺️ What is our goal?
Moving to a beautiful city like Rome is an incredible adventure, but finding your community can sometimes be a challenge—especially if you love tabletop gaming. After searching high and low for English-speaking board game groups or ludopubs hosting events in English, it became clear there was a major gap.

This group exists to bridge that gap. Our primary quest is to bring together the international community, expats, and locals in Rome to connect face-to-face over great games. We are focused on building real, in-person relationships and lasting friendships rather than playing behind screens.

👥 Who should join?
This group is designed for:

  • Expats and International Residents who have moved to Rome for the long run and want to establish a reliable, friendly social circle.
  • Locals who love board games and want a space to play and socialize entirely in English.
  • All Skill Levels: Whether you are a seasoned strategist or completely new to the hobby, you are welcome here.

Note: While our focus is on building a stable community of long-term Rome residents to foster deep friendships, travelers and those just passing through are absolutely welcome to join our party and play with us!

🎲 What will we do at our events?
We want to offer the best of both worlds in the tabletop hobby. Our meetups will split into two main formats:

  • Casual & Regular Game Nights: Open-table events where we play a wide variety of games—from light party games and social deduction to heavy Euros and strategy games. Anyone can show up, grab a seat, and learn a new game.
  • Long-Term Campaigns: For those looking for consistent, ongoing stories, we will actively form dedicated groups for long-term campaigns (such as Dungeons & Dragons, legacy board games, or campaign-driven cooperative games).

Everything we do is focused on sitting around a physical table, rolling real dice, and getting to know the people across from us. Join us for our next event and let's roll some dice together!
