Knitting, Craft & a Calmer Mind — with Nahid Bakloo
Did you know that knitting and craft are scientifically proven to reduce stress, improve focus, and support emotional regulation?
Through repetitive, rhythmic movement, craft activates the nervous system in a way that helps the mind settle and regain clarity—while creating something tangible and useful.
This group brings together creativity, design, and practical psychology in a hands-on format.
In this group, you will learn how to:

  • Design and create a wearable wardrobe through knitting and simple construction
  • Work with colour palettes that suit your style and environment
  • Renew and transform existing garments instead of replacing them
  • Understand the structure behind patterns and develop your own ideas
  • Use craft as a practical method to improve focus and reduce mental overload

We meet regularly to knit, create, and exchange ideas.
Each session combines:

  • Guided insights on design, materials, and techniques
  • Practical work on your own projects
  • Conversations around creativity, daily life, and sustainable living

This is a space where craft becomes both a skill and a tool—for building a functional wardrobe, developing creative thinking, and supporting a more balanced way of living.
