Sakura Quiz night, Oslo VS Lillestrøm!

THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE: I am responsible for making people come to a venue called Sakura, an outdoor spot next to LUX Hotel in Lillestrøm, done up with a Japanese theme and San Miguel on tap.

This is a professional collaboration, yet a lowkey event relative to how serious what I just said sounds, haha.

First one's Tuesday 21 July, second one's the following Tuesday, 28 July, maybe a third before summer's out, but yet to be determined.

I wanted to do something with a bit more shape than my usual mingles for a brand-new spot, so it's a quiz, which I am famously (in my head) bad at.
Paper and pen but with an option to also see the questions on your phone, but I will be reading them out regardless, and try to have a big screen that displays them: teams write their answers down, then swap sheets with another table and mark each other's at the end, a little social hopefully!

There is something I'm really curious (?), anxious (?) about: Most of my regulars are in Oslo, and I've never run a night in Lillestrøm before, so I'm turning that into a small experiment.

When you sit down, your table picks a side: Oslo, Lillestrøm, or Wildcard if you're neither or a bit of both. Whichever table wins the night claims the Room for More × Sakura Cup for their side, the first point on the board across the two Tuesdays. I'll ask for a show of hands early on too, mostly because I'm curious who actually turns up from where.

If you're in Oslo and haven't made it out to Lillestrøm yet, this is a low-effort excuse to see a corner of it you might not otherwise, a small, nice city that is close to my heart. If you're in Lillestrøm and haven't heard of Sakura yet either, you're not behind, it's new for locals too, and I'd rather you hear about it from me than not at all.

Cost: free to come, you pay for your own drinks at the bar.
Time: 17:00 to 22:00, with the quiz itself starting around 19:00.

Language: English and Norwegian both fine, the questions will work in either.
