Hike Coal Creek Falls in honor of National Take a Hike Day ⛰️

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! As we approach a rainier month and in honor of “National Take a Hike day” which is on November 17th, we thought a hike which is short and sweet would be nice; it is 2.2 miles long with 475 ft elevation gain. Coal Creek Falls is under 30 min from the city and followed by an optional social on the way back to the city. Join the WhatsAppp group for easy communication and the option to carpool if you need to (link in comment section). A google sheets carpool link will be sent out closer to the hike date on the whatsapp group. Recommend packing water, raincoat and bear spray (one of the hiking leads will also carry bear spray) as bears have been spotted on this trail. We will be hiking even if there is some rain, we may postpone only if there is very heavy rain.
