Learn to Sport Climb Outside — Weekly Skills Clinics
Details
You can tie in. You can belay.
But you’ve probably wondered—
can you lead it yourself?
That’s what this is.
Small-group sessions focused on building the skills and confidence to climb outside on bolts. Less guesswork. More flow.
Not sure if you're ready? Start with the Free Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing. That’s where you learn the basics and decide your path.
Sport Path — Focus on the Climb
This is the fastest way outside.
Protection is already there. Your job is to move well, manage the rope, and make good decisions as you go.
Less time building systems. More time actually climbing.
What You’ll Learn
Each session builds the skills that turn gym climbers into outdoor climbers:
Clipping (clean, efficient, mistake-free)
Belaying a leader (managing slack and catching falls)
Movement between bolts (control, pacing, decision-making)
Falling (when to go, how to go, how to catch)
Cleaning anchors
Basic rope systems and communication
Who This Is For
You’ll fit right in if you:
Climb in the gym and want to get outside
Want to start lead climbing on real rock
Have been outside but felt unsure or hesitant
Want to build confidence quickly
Most people start here.
It’s simpler. It’s direct. And it gets you climbing outside faster.
