Join us for a collaboration between the San Diego Bird Alliance and the Friends of Rose Creek as we explore the birds of the Rose Creek Salt Marsh and upstream habitat.

Kyle will be our guide.
No birding experience required.
We will have binoculars available for use during the walk thanks to the San Diego Bird Alliance.

Please register with the Bird Alliance ahead of time or on site the day of the event. They need to show their sponsors that they are doing good work at Rose Creek. Please click here to pre-register.

Stay for as long or as short as you wish. We usually have the best bird sightings around sunset!

This bird stroll is on mostly level ground, often paved and suitable for all ages. Unfortunately, the entire walk is not wheelchair accessible. If you or someone who wants to attend uses a wheelchair, please message us for how you can join for the wheelchair friendly stretch of the walk.

*** Rain cancels. Drizzle we may continue***

Do not turn onto Lee Street! Please check the posted directions carefully.”

Low tide will be at 4:34 PM and the tide will be rising. High tide is at 10:33 PM, with sunset at 7:16 PM. Remember, we will be at the coast and often times it gets cooler around sunset. Plan accordingly.
