You decide how involved you want to be.
***
## How It Works

https://Rotary-PTS.eventbrite.comEvent description
Care about something in your community but unsure where to begin? Join a small, facilitated conversation that will help you turn a concern into a clearer problem and identify a practical first step.
No project idea or Rotary experience is needed. This is not a membership presentation.
What problem in our community would you most like to help solve?
The workshop will be led by Jim Marggraff, a Lamorinda Sunrise Rotarian, inventor, and entrepreneur who has spent much of his career turning problems into practical solutions. Jim will guide participants through a process for taking something they care about and defining it as a problem they can begin to address.
You do not need to arrive with an idea already formed. The workshop is designed to help you:- Identify an issue that matters to you
- Put the problem into your own words
- Hear what other participants care about
- Identify a sensible first step
This is not a traditional Rotary meeting or membership presentation. It is a participatory conversation about community needs, personal interests, and how people can work together to turn good intentions into meaningful action.
Attendance is limited to 25 people so everyone has an opportunity to participate.
After the workshop, Western Flyer will be open. Participants are welcome to stay, purchase food or beverages, and continue the conversation.### Why we’re hosting this
Lamorinda Sunrise Rotary is developing a more flexible, project-based way for people to serve locally, meet good people, and work on causes that matter—without attending weekly meetings.
The interests and ideas raised during this workshop may help shape projects we explore together.Advance registration is required.
