What we’re about
During this meetup, I'd like to combine mingling – with locals, expats/digital nomads and entrepreneurs – with talking about your (online) businesses (ideas), living/working in another country and meeting locals.
The idea for this event:
- A relaxed setting with a drink
- Meet new people and make friends (both local and foreigners)
- Talk about entrepreneurship or working online
- Marketing, SEO, Affiliate, Ownership etc
- Get business contacts and ideas
- Talk about life in the Netherlands
- You could even practice your Dutch (or English and Spanish)
- Have a fun evening
The main idea is to have a fun evening! Where you could get to know new (local) people and get or give tips and advice on how you handle your life as an entrepreneur or expat/digital nomad (in a foreign country).
For who is this event?
Everyone from anywhere is welcome, but we will focus on entrepreneurship, working abroad and/or being a digital nomad.
Also for people who:
- Are interested in starting a business
- Want to transition from 9-to-5 to their own business or digital nomad
- Seek inspiration for business or want help/tips
I lived in other countries and know how difficult it can be to mingle with locals. I hope this event will help to let expats/digital nomads meet locals if they'd like to.
Can I talk about other subjects with people?
Of course! Talking about the business subjects is the broad idea, but we should definitely talk about Bitterballen and The Smurfs as well! :-)
Do I need to have my own business or work online?
It is not necessary that you have your own business or work online.
Can I come if I just would like to meet new people / make new friends?
Of course!
There will be some talking topics/ icebreakers about business prepared, but it's up to you if you want to talk about those topics.
