What we’re about
The Rough Ashlar Club is a social club that seeks to provide social activity for Masons of all Degrees, their family and friends, and those interested in finding out more about Masonry and Masonic principles (Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity) in the Panama City, Florida area.
Many activities revolving around Freemasonry are exclusive to the Mason, and often not open to them until they have achieved the degree of Master Mason. This can take 6 months or more to achieve. We aim to provide an environment where Masons of any degree can get to know one another, developing those critical fraternal bonds, while at the same time allowing their family and friends to be involved. This will also provide those interested in Freemasonry a more casual avenue to find out more. To become a Mason, you must get to know a few, and this is the perfect opportunity to do so.
There is no requirement to be a Mason, nor will there be any pressure to join the organization.
Each month will feature a wide variety of social activities. One month may be a meetup at a local restaurant to help out a local business person, the next month we may assist with environmental cleanup or a board game night, and the month after that may be a visit to a nearby historical site. We aim to have something interesting for everyone, and have a great time while we meet new friends!
