# Group Update: Hiatus Notice

This group is currently on hiatus.
It is with a heavy heart that I am stepping back for the time being. In practice, it has been difficult to find consistently committed members, and with several personal responsibilities requiring my attention, I need to pause my involvement in order to focus on those priorities.
If you feel you may be a strong fit—someone who is genuinely committed, willing to show up consistently, and contribute meaningfully—please feel free to reach out. I remain open to the possibility of reopening or restructuring the group for the right person or people who can help sustain its vision and community.

# Welcome & Blessed Be!

I'm looking to connect with local witches and pagans who are interested in both studying and practicing the Craft.
Our discussions may include topics such as:

  • Book of Shadows and grimoire creation
  • Herbalism
  • Healing
  • Tarot and divination
  • Scrying
  • Ritual design and practice
  • Folk magic, correspondences, and other magical arts

But I don't want to stop at theory. If we spend an evening discussing herbs, I'd love for our next step to be making an incense blend, tincture, infused oil, or other practical working. This is a hands-on group for people who want to actively develop their practice—not just talk about it.

## Building Community

My goal is to build a genuine magical community of people who contribute to one another's growth. Members are encouraged to help facilitate discussions, classes, workshops, and rituals. Sometimes I'll lead; other times I'd love for you to share your knowledge and experience.
I have space to host gatherings in person, and we'll also have the option of meeting via Zoom.

## Participation Expectations

This group is about showing up, building relationships, and practicing together.
To keep the community active and engaged:

  • Please participate at least once each month. Members who become inactive without communicating may be removed from the group.
  • If you RSVP to an event, please attend. Repeated "no call, no show" absences waste everyone's time and may result in removal from the group.

## RSVP Policy

Please RSVP at least 24 hours before an event to receive the meeting link or address.
If your plans change, simply update your RSVP. If you have to cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, just leave a comment on the event or send me a message. Life happens—communication is what matters.

## Community Guidelines

Let's create a space where everyone feels welcome and respected.

  • Use a profile photo that clearly shows your face.
  • Be kind, respectful, and open-minded.
  • Respect different traditions, paths, and experiences.
  • Don't yuck someone else's yum.
  • Keep disagreements civil and constructive.
  • No spam, self-promotion without permission, or disruptive behavior.
  • Bring your best self, your curiosity, and your willingness to learn.

Together, let's build a community where we study, practice, create, and grow in our Craft.
Blessed Be.
