Thurs Thamaturgy - SPECIAL SESSION: Presentation on Imbolc

Normally, we would be studying Psychic Witch. BUT during this Special Session, we have decided to participate in an information exchange instead.

One of the group members, Em, will be holding a presentation on his research and personal practice of the Imbolc Sabbat (also will cover other names this Turn of the Wheel goes by). Afterward, we will make or dress a candle with the energies of the season/to welcome in the sun/mark the start of longer days, growth, warmth, light, prosperity, bright days ahead - those kinds of feelings and intentions - to use in our personal practice. Discussion is welcome after the presentation and each practitioner will have a chance to talk about their own practices in regards to the topic at hand.

You are recommended to bring:
- a notebook to take notes or insights down
- an open mind even if you are a more experienced practitioner
- white candle or whatever materials you would use to craft your candle
- cinnamon sticks/other herbs or oils that have warmth, light and prosperity correspondences; possibly turmeric or another herb or oil to paint a sun on the candle
-optional: a small plate for the candle to stand on with salt and the herbs, any sigils you want, crystals that correspond to warmth, light and prosperity - as a small altar or bowl to attune with the energies.
