About us
The Royal British Legion is a UK military charity, established on 5th May 1921 and since 1949 has had a branch in Switzerland. The charity provides various services to wounded, sick or disadvantaged soldiers. Some example of support include: debt advice on how to budget; mental support for those with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or financial assistance towards lifestyle improvements, such as building a ramp for a wheelchair or a walk-in shower, etc. The Swiss branch therefore uses social events to raise vital funds for this military charity.

Royal British Legion - Switzerland: AGM & Annual Dinner
Warwick Geneva, Rue de Lausanne 14, 1201 Genève, Switzerland, Genève, GE, CHWe are delighted to invite you and any guests to the Royal British Legion Swiss Branch - AGM and Annual dinner. This will take place on Thursday, 29 October 2026.
This annual event, with guest speaker, will be held at: Location: Hotel Warwick, Rue de Lausanne 14, 1201 Geneva.
Members are invited to attend the AGM prior to the Apero at 18:15 hrs. Any member wishing to join the committee team should provide a short resume no later than 15 October 2026. Other topics for discussion, should also be emailed to the Chairman in advance of the AGM - email address on our website.
For the dinner: Guests do not need to be members.
Costs: Dinner will include 3-courses, tea, coffee, wine and water for CHF 110 p.p. (members) and CHF 130 p.p. (non-members).
Dietary requirements: if anyone has any "dietary requirements" please notify us in advance to the Chairman via the email on our official website.Timings:

Our guest speaker at the dinner will be Colonel Geoffrey Cardozo CBE, who will speak on the topic “Post-Falklands War: People not Bodies - the Identification of Argentine War Dead”.Dress Code: Business smart
