What we're about
This is a casual weekly meetup to fill a few pages in your sketch pad, bounce ideas, get peer feedback, and socialize with other creatives. All skill levels are welcome. There is no formal instruction, bring your own media.
Please note that although this Meetup page seems inactive (we mostly just use it as an advertisement), we have remained consistently active with at least 1 meetup per week since 2016, so don't be discouraged! Everyone is welcome to drop by, no membership or RSVP needed.

Welcome to the weekend variety of sketch group! Historically this has been the slow day, however we have seen an explosion over the past year and Saturdays have consistently been our busy day. Seating is first come, first serve but we’ll do our best to squeeze in everyone who wants to join.
NOTE: You do not have to be a member to attend! Meetup membership is meaningless! Everyone is welcome, feel free to bring a friend or two.
LOCATION: The Office Coffee Shop, downtown Royal Oak.
PARKING: There is a parking structure in the area, however there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood to the west (some with meters). Be aware, some side streets only allow parking on one side of the street.

Welcome to Sketch Tuesdays! If you don't like large crowds or angling for an empty seat, Tuesdays might suit you well as the turnout tends to be less (6-12 range). Drop by in the evening and unwind with some sketching and socializing after work!
NOTE: You do not have to be a member to attend! Meetup membership is meaningless! Everyone is welcome, even feel free to bring a friend or two.
LOCATION: The Office Coffee in Royal Oak. We're usually set up in the back at the long table, but we may also be towards the register with a few tables joined together as well. Just look for sketchbooks!
PARKING: Street meters are available directly around The Office, but plenty of free street parking in the neighborhood blocks to the west is also available if you don't mind walking a couple minutes.
