What we're about

This meeting is a networking opportunity for those interested in innovating in Agriculture. We hope that great communication between Ag innovators, enthusiasts, students and professionals will generate ideas and opportunities to bring positive impact to North Carolina and beyond. We welcome community members who are interested in creating the future in Agriculture: growers, research, engineering and tech employees, veterans, companies, investors, students, start-ups, makers and enthusiasts.
If you know anyone, in who might benefit from being a part of RTP AgBio + AgTech, please share this invite with them. The group holds meetings in various formats and locations and serves as a starting point for Future Focused Agriculture networking.

APRIL 13 - Take an AgTech Field Trip to Mertek!

3913 Hawkins Ave

It’s Spring, the days are longer, and we are going on a field trip to tour Mertek Solutions! The Mertek Team makes stuff, and they can design, fabricate, and automate all kinds of AgTech solutions. We are excited to see their Sanford headquarters (only 25 minutes from Cary)! Jerry Pedley, Mertek President, has invited members of Sanford and Lee County’s growing AgTech ecosystem to join and share information about entrepreneurial support and opportunities for Ag entrepreneurs. The folks at Mertek want a crowd of happy, not hangry people, so they have kindly offered to feed us before the tour! Plan to arrive at Mertek on April 13th at 5:00pm sharp.
