**About the Speaker:**
**Dr. Sharon Inch** is a plant pathologist and agricultural research leader with 15+ years of experience in crop protection, disease management, and sustainable agriculture. She holds a Ph.D. in Botany from the University of Manitoba.
Dr. Inch brings extensive expertise in business development, strategic planning, and regulatory affairs. She has led cross-functional teams through complex product development cycles, securing North American and European regulatory approvals while managing strategic industry partnerships. Her background encompasses regulatory strategy, permitting, compliance, and stewardship program development.
Currently, Dr. Inch operates two complementary ventures: **SoilSync**, an agricultural consulting firm specializing in plant and soil health assessment, microbiome analysis, biologicals screening (bio-pesticides, bio-stimulants, bio-fertilizers), disease trials, and resistance evaluations through controlled greenhouse and cabinet trial capabilities; and **AgVision Analytics**, a precision, high-throughput phenotyping system that empowers plant breeders with advanced AI-driven image analysis tools to enhance precision and accelerate decision-making. Together, these businesses foster innovation and efficiency in agriculture’s evolving landscape.
