Wildcat Hills and Valley Ramble

This is a beautiful ride encompassing a good climb, nice downhills, rollers and flats. To enjoy this route, you must be comfortable on two lane rural roads, and a substantial climb at the start, where we climb Wildcat towards Molalla, and then descend down Soda Springs. Lots of wonderful Oregon farmland, filbert orchards, and ranches along the route.

Be sure to check the GPS to see if you are comfortable with the route. Not a beginner ride, but also not a paceline or testosterone ride. If you sign up, please be comfortable with climbs and rollers. Will wait at tops of climbs to regroup.

There are no restrooms on the route, but you can stop at the McD or Starbucks in Molalla on 213 on your way to the ride.

Optional lunch / snack after the ride at the Markum Inn, near the ride start…great outdoor patio.

Cancellation Policy: I will cancel if weather is wet or excessively windy.

Required Gear: HELMETS must be worn at all times while riding. This is a requirement and not a request.

Recommended Gear: Bring plenty of water, food, flat repair kit, with a spare tube. A tool kit and small pump is good, but if you don’t have one there is usually someone on a group ride who does. Please check to see if someone has what you might need if you don't and be prepared to ride a bus or call a cab. (Not that we'll leave you by the road broken down, because that's not us). Carry a credit card and a little cash to buy refreshments or buy that bus ticket....

Absolutely no earbuds allowed.
