Mosier Labor Day Special

Details
Winds are light in the East Gorge on Labor Day Monday, and I plan to take advantage.
This is a reprise of a previous hilly Choose Your Distance ride, divided into two parts.
Choose to do one or both parts.
Ride hills at your own pace. Regroup at Rowena Crest, Mayer State Park, and Mosier.
First ride from Mosier over Rowena Crest to Mayer State Park. Have a snack, and ride back to Mosier. We will see some of the fire damage from the recent Rowena fire.

Have coffee in Mosier, or continue onto the Tunnel Trail to the Hatfield West Trailhead/Hood River, another out & back. You will see damage and healing from a fire last year on this stretch of the ride.
If you do both segments, the total ride is approximately 30 miles and 2200 ft of climbing for the entire route.

Restrooms at the Mosier Totem Pole, at Mayer State Park, and at Hatfield West Trailhead .
