Start at Farmington Paddle Launch, wheels roll at 10:30 am

We'll start on the flats, warming up on Clark Hill before taking Mountain Home or a quiet, scenic backdoor route up to the pleasant Gibbs Cemetery brief rest/water stop, then continuing up Bald Peak. It's a generally gentle, steady climb with some panorama points overlooking wine country from the highest point in the Chehalem Mountains. We'll scream down from the heights (carefully) then whoever has the time and desire can rally for Holly Hill or more with flexibility for weather, group, mechanical concerns.

Level: Advanced - Intermediate. Not a beginner ride. You should have some good climbing rides at a steady pace under your belt.

12.5-15 mph average pace for this hilly no-drop ride (your average pace for flatter rides should be around 16-21 mph). We'll regroup at the top of hills and a couple of other places. Climb at your own pace. Bring a layer for fun times cruising down. Guidelines for this ride are: safety, flexibility, communication.
