This month's Ruby.MN meetup welcomes Rubyists from around the world to Minneapolis on the eve of RailsConf, the largest and longest-running international gathering of Ruby on Rails enthusiasts and practitioners!
Ruby.MN alum Phil Crissman will use the story of Yammer's (ongoing) evolution from monolith to microservices as a case study, talking about some of the things that worked, as well as mistakes that they've made and things they've learned.
We'll also do a round of lightning talks — bring your own 5-minute demo or topic to present!
Pizza and beverages at 6:30, presentations beginning at 7pm.
Please RSVP and be accurate about whether or not you're coming! Note: Due to the potential for a larger crowd than usual with RailsConf attendees in town, we've set a maximum RSVP count on this particular meetup (just to make sure the space is large enough to support everyone). The number is pretty conservative at the moment; do check back if it is reached as the meetup draws near.
