Session Description
This presentation explores advanced graphic and annotative strategies for sections and elevations in Revit, focusing on optimizing view templates through object styles, filters, linked model graphic overrides, and backgrounds. It also delves into modifying element visibility from linked models of other disciplines, showcasing practical examples and best practices.

Prerequisite Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge in Revit functionality and a general knowledge of construction techniques.

Learning Objectives

• Understand how to effectively utilize view templates to standardize and streamline section and elevation creation in Revit.
• Understand how to modify element visibility from linked models to control the display of structural, MEP, and other discipline-specific elements in their sections and elevations, ensuring that only relevant information is shown for each view.
• Explore view property settings tailored to each discipline, ensuring that the documentation is clear and easy to interpret.
• Gain insights into graphic override settings that can drastically improve the appearance and clarity of section and elevation drawings.
