See time on the right to add the event and teams link to your calendar. If you want a reminder you'll need to set that in the calendar appointment settings (by default it's set to none).
Please note we're starting 30 minutes later than usual (12:45) and adding 15 minutes at the beginning and end for additional questions and conversation. Please arrive at 12:45 to discuss questions not related to the advertised topic - that will ensure we can start the main presentation on time (1:00) and use a full hour for the main topic - while still providing an opportunity to help one another out with any BIM issues or challenges!
Special Presentation:
Setting up a Bridge in ACC and Seamless Topography Modeling with Civil 3D and Revit
Presenters:
Thesla Collier, Bethany Pritchard and Sidney Griffin
Session Description
This session will have two parts. The first half of the session will review what an Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Bridge is, the benefits of using one and demonstrate how to set one up. Sid and Bethany will lead a discussion about the potential for a shift in the industry standard for hosting files for collaborative projects. In the second half of the session Thesla will demonstrate how to create integrated topography by establishing a smooth workflow between Civil 3D and Revit. Attendees will learn how to prepare Civil 3D surfaces, manage data transfer, and build a coordinated topographic model inside Revit that supports design accuracy and multidisciplinary collaboration. The presentation will cover practical steps, common challenges, and proven methods that improve efficiency and reduce rework across design teams.
Learning Objectives
- Explain the purpose and benefits of using an Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Bridge and demonstrate how to configure one.
- Learn how to translate Civil 3D surface data into a clean and usable Revit topography model.
- Explore tools and export settings that maintain accuracy during data transfer.
- Improve team coordination through shared workflows for topographic updates.
- Use integrated modeling techniques to reduce design conflicts and streamline project delivery.
