Come out and meet other local runners for great camaraderie and motivation. Some of us jog, some of us run, some of us race, but we all have fun! The key is to show up and give it a try -- the sooner you come out and join us, the sooner you will be on the road to fitness, health, and meeting lifelong running friends!

Berkeley Marina Tuesday Morning Runs at 7am (6:30am earlybirds)

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel

This is a small weekly run that's been going on since about 2001 for people of all speeds including walkers. We meet at 7am sharp. (Earlybirds can start at 6:30am and some start at Peet's on 4th and run to the Marina meeting place by 7am). We meet in the gravel parking area directly across the street from the entrance to the Doubletree Hotel. Then we split up into smaller groups based on preferred speed and distance. Slower runners and walkers welcome. Distances: 4-5-6 or even 8 miles depending on your route. Most of us run along the perimeter and some run into McLaughlin East Bay State Park or even Berkeley Aquatic Park. Most of us finish @8:00am and go for a quick coffee at Peet's on 4th Street, Berkeley. Depending on your speed and distance, you may end up running alone (especially speed demons), but you will have company at the beginning and end. Please join us!

Tuesday Evening Beginner Trail Run

Join the BRC for a trail run!

This run is intended for beginning runners who want to try the trails. The run will be 30 minutes long, at a leisurely pace. Hills, if any, will be gentle. We start punctually, so if you need to stretch or do a warm-up, do that beforehand.

Please be self-sufficient. If you'd like to run more, stick around for the 6:30PM meetup, where there are ample opportunities for distance, speed, and hills.

Tuesday Evening Tilden Park Trail Run

Hi everyone,

Come out and enjoy a mid-week evening trail run in Tilden Park. Expect anywhere from 5-10 miles with plenty of hills. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

Depending on who shows up, we may split up the group to accommodate different paces and distances. The trails at Tilden are well marked, and there are plenty of options for extending or shortening runs.

It will be assumed that everyone is self-sufficient and prepared to get back to the parking lot alone. (This is a "run your own pace run". If you're fast, don't feel like you need to wait. If you're a bit slower, don't worry about it, but make sure you know how to get back!)

We meet at the trail head right across the creek from the parking lot. Please post if you need a ride and/or want to carpool, or you have any other concerns.

***** In Fall and Winter***** This becomes a night run. Bring a flashlight or headlamp!

Outdoor Playgroup Fitness Class in Berkeley (Ocean View Park)

WE MEET MONDAY, WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY AT 10AM AT OCEAN VIEW PARK. EVERY SATURDAY WE WELCOME ALL FAMILIES FOR A FUN WORKOUT AT 9AM AT OCEAN VIEW PARK.

Finally a chance a get a great workout in, with your baby/toddler/young kids in tow!

This class is designed to help you get fit and toned, create lasting friendships and become proud of your body again. Combining running (with or without your stroller) and toning resistance band exercises.

Our workouts take place in a safe contained space where toddlers form friendships through playing together. Babies sit in the stroller or lay on a yoga mat with their moms during core work.

Take breaks any time to calm, feed or change your baby. We are all moms, we get it!

These workouts will give you the endurance you need to tackle the rigors of motherhood head-on!

ALL abilities welcome: We meet each mom wherever they are currently at in their fitness journey.

First Class FREE, thereafter drop-in options or monthly memberships are available.

Sign ups for your first free class take place through my website and not here on meetup.
