Run + Yoga in Tilden

Please join us for another Run + Yoga session.
Run will go along Wildcat Canyon - rolling terrain trail/paved roadway in two pace groups:

Intermediate pace group (8-8.5 mile/min) - led by Anya. We will run for 4 miles out and back on the trail at a steady pace.

Beginner Run - led by Johanne, 2-4 miles, 45 minute run at an easy pace.
Suggested longer run for anyone interested: 7 miles, hilly trails, through Tilden and Wildcat Canyon Regional Parks. Running route here:

**NOTE - the longer route will not be led so if you'd like to run longer, please come prepared with a map and start earlier (8:40-8:45 am) in order to make it back in time for yoga.
Everyone will meet back up at the Meadows Parking Lot area by 10 am for an hour-long yoga for runners session in the meadow near the parking area. Yoga workshop will begin at approximately 10 am so if you would like to join for yoga-only, please arrive at the meeting spot defined above by that time.
This yoga class will be run by Johanne, a BRC member and yoga instructor at the Tree of Life Yoga studio in Emeryville ( http://www.treeoflife-yoga.com/index2.php#!/HOME ). Johanne has 12 years of personal training expertise, 4 years as a triathlon coach, and 5 years as a certified yoga instructor. She is an avid runner and will tailor our yoga to focus on poses and stretches that are beneficial to a runner's body.
This is a donation-based yoga session with a request for a minimum contribution of $6 so please be sure to bring some cash as well as a yoga mat if you have one. A towel, an extra layer of clothing, and a bottle of water are also recommended. There will be a car or two for storing gear and extra layers during the run.
