King's Day run in St. Magleby

Special Monday evening run. Your HR (Hare Raiser) has been creative.

Dutch King's Day and running in the "farmer's Village". We encourage you to wear orange attire or a local custome (folkedragt). You have missed the Fastelavn / Throvetide, but we have a surprise for you and this is an opportunity to see part of King Christian the 2nd's Dutch village.
There will be a photo stop and a drink stop, so the trail will be approx 8km and short cut 4,5km.

We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”.

How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize.

Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 18:30h.

Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up.
